    Good for a rescue boat?

What do you guys think of a new Traxxas blast for a rescue boat?

I have the opportunity to get one cheap.

Just getting back in after a long break. Used to use a Traxxas villain with pvc and noodles which worked great as it had twin screws and could turn on a dime.

Unfortunately they have become hard to find and when you do people are asking crazy money for them.
Think the blast will work pretty well although it’s quite a bit smaller.
    Thoughts?

I still have a Villain Ex that was my first recovery boat :). I guess it depends how big the boats your rescuing are. I went to tugs for more torque for the bigger boats, I had two different Vac-U-Tugs and now a modded Atlantic tug with a bigger prop and motor. It’s the best combo of speed and pulling power so far. But if I built another it would probably be the Tugster from Zippkits.

      Thanks.
Mostly rtr stuff for now but will be working up to something much bigger once I get my sea legs back.
A tug is definitely in my plans.

I built mine out of pvc. I designed and print what I call the Power head. The Power head holds all electronics and the motor up and out of the water, and slides on to 3/4 pvc pipe so you can build your boat to what ever size you need.
