      Sorry for your loss there isn't worst thing in this world than go back home with that smell in the car.....had lived this situation many times with my saw boats!.I have no experience with scales but who knows your boat isn't overproped....I have seen amps going to the ruff with smaller props than a X462.Gill

        Awwwwww,.....man.

        I filled my hull with baking soda and closed it up for a few days. Helped a lot with the odor.

              If you would like to try an alternative ESC -- I can send you one of my spare DLUX 250A's converted to water to test

              I've seen them go up to 500-600amps on 12-14s

              Any idea how much amps you were pulling when it went into meltdown?
