so are 2 bladed props better than 3 bladed ? or does the 3 make faster run times? moving more water???? thks jim

Depends ... it is a game of trial and error. Depends on the boat,setup, prop diameter and pitch.

I remember reading that 2 blade props cavate less, but 3 blade props produce a higher top end speed. I'm not sure is this is accurate.

in my case, 3 blade produce more torque, more aceleration and more heat, top end remain the same with 2 blade.
