    Blackjack 29 v3 6s runnin hot

Just got my upgraded flex in along with the stock prop balanced and sharpened. Also put the swoop lines in.

Running 6s, the motor after 2 or 3 passes Is hot. Like I can hold my finger on it for 5 seconds.

    I'm assuming I need the 1650kv motor?

these always run hot .get a temp checker ,what feels hot to you maybe actually be acceptable .only way to know is with a temp gun .they are cheap .
but yeah these boats run hot .a lower kv motor would be good .but a bigger can motor with lower kv would be better .
do you watch the water outlet to be sure the water is flowing?
you can try opening up the water inlet in the rudder a little .theres a video on youtube showing you how .

2000 kv is too high for 6s. that motor is more suited to 4s. unless your doing SAW you shouldn,t go higher than 1500 kv,s on 6s. also your motor cooling line is back to front. inlet at bottom not top.
