    Need Help... TP Power 40 series motor diameter

    What are the chances that someone can measure the OD of a TP motor 40 series can? They state the OD is 39.5mm. I want to see how close the physical measurement is on a couple of motors.

    Thanks
    Mike

      Ah Ha. That would explain why the 40mm tail ring is a little loose on a TP 4074 can. Good question Mike.

        On my TP 4050's
        Can - 40.08mm or 1.578"

        It is bigger then the NEU 1515 because a 1515 water cooler from Ham will not fit.

          Mike,
          It drives me crazy trying to keep up with the TP can sizes for making jackets and mounts. The V 2 motors are 39.5 mm and TP V1 are like Larry said just a tad over 40 mm. One needs to be sure what motor you have to get the proper jacket. Hope that helps.

              For what it’s worth, I have one of each;

              V2 - 39.5
              V1 - 39.99

                And to keep it clear as mud, V2 are the older motors, and V1 are the newer models.
