my CC hydra120 has worked flawlessly for two hard years of racing and testing I like it.

Now for the kicker..... I called CC and asked them If I could update a Barracuda 125 to hydra 120, they told me send it back and for X amount of money I could get a hydra 240, so I did, a few days later I get a Hydra 240 at full price, not the price they told me on the phone, So a phone call later they told me I sent them a pheonix esc (I dont even own a plane) and not a Barracuda 125, "I told them thats funny becasuse the esc I sent you came from you guys in a Barracuda 125 package as a warranty replacement and I sent it right back unused to get this updated to a 240" answer: well the barracuda were modified plane escs(which I knew) end of conversation. so I am still undecided about Castle at this time.

That isn't cool Jeepers. My bud has two Cuda 125's that he needs to send in, i hope he doesn't go through the same problem.

Yes, once the firmware was updated, all those problems left.

Jeep, The best barracudas were the ones made in the last few months before the change to hydras. I sent a picture of the new barracuda with the updated fet design to one of our friendly esc makers that surfs the forums to check out. His comment was, "I'm surprised they didn't increase the amp rating on these". A few weeks later the hydra's were released.
