programming Orion esc help

hello,

I am trying to program an Orion vortex 80amp esc. When I first plugged it in it made a series of beeps, stopped beeping and immediately went to full throttle. When I plugged it did it enter programming mode? and the esc remembered the neutral throttle position as full throttle? I have tried several times to get the esc to enter program (per instructions) mode by holding the controller in full throttle position but that doesn't seem to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you might need to Reverse the throttle in transmitter , then try again.

I figured it out....had the plugs for servo and receiver swapped, which is why i couldn't follow programming directions...thanks!
