    Vacu Pickle motor mount

    Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone is using the vacu pickle motor mount with a aquacraft motor and how it goes for size.

    Cheers

I am using it... fits very nicely. The only thing it does not do is rest on the back, but it is very steady and does not bounce under it's own weight. I like this motor mount a lot... very versatile.

Mate I love them, my Whiplash uses one with a 1515 and a wire drive. Have two more sitting in the shed awaiting a boat. What a good excuse for more boats.

        Thanks Jan,
I thought the AQ motor would have been to short for the back rest, but good to here it is stable without it..

Hey Andy would like to part with one of those mounts???

I used a belt sander and some marine plywood and made a wedge for my short can. I epoxied it to the aluminum mount and laid some servo tape across the top as a vibration dampener. I also needed an extra long zip tie to tie down the can .
