where I can find some similar carbon fiber hose/tubing

    gentlemen

does anyone know where I can find some similar flexible carbon fiber hose/tubing as in the photo below

I want to cover the wires from twin outboards that enter the hull and look aesthetically pleasing
I am using heat shrink tube currently and bent it into shape while warm it looks good but not as finished looking as the covering used in the water tube photo

    thanks for looking

That's nylon wire loom, not CF. I agree, it looks really good. I've only ever purchased it in larger diameters for use at work from places like Del City or Grainger. Not sure on the best source for smaller diameters to cover cooling hoses and motor wires.

Np, I'm glad you got them and the prices are great on them. They do look cool on motor/esc leads and any other wires you want to cover. As for the cooling tubes that would be cool to cover my clear ones. I'd like to take you on your offer if you want to send some my way that would be cool. . .8'-10' of each if you can spare that much.

If you want real carbon sleeve, here you go. Be warned, it’s a pain to keep it from fraying but it can be done. If you get some, it’ll tell you my idea on keeping it from fraying.

the flexie sleeve material arrived and I am very pleased with it I did notice when I cut the first piece with scissors that the ends frayed as I expected but the factory end looked cotterized so I fed a piece of water cooling line thru the 1/4 ( even fits 7mm cooling tube) and heated a sharp knife with a propane torch and cut to length....perfect..no frayed ends... I also tested Krylon plastic paint on the red and black to turn it straight black and it too works great!

FYI I live in the sticks and only go to town once a week and went yesterday, so those of you that sent me your mailing address dont expect to see your flexie sleeve material tomorrow
