    Suitable prop size suggestion

I am nearing completion of the construction phase of a 70 cm mono with basically just paint to complete (only been about six months although in the time have finished about six boats). The hull is a 1980's moulded (not vacuum formed) ABS hull which has had a carbon fibre inlay reinforcing plus two-part expanding foam in the nose. Due the mods the hull obviously weighs more than a stock ABS hull. The end result is a very torsionally strong boat.

I have fitted a Leopard 3674 2200kv motor running 4s with a Turnigy 120 amp ESC. I am open to suggestions as to a suitable propellor size. I like a CNC 440/3 but do not want to overheat the motor or ESC. Is this a possible solution, please?

start with an x 442 x 2 blade and check temps from there. you might end up with this prop or an x445 x 2 or even the 440 x 3 blade. with a new hull that is also unknown to many all you can do is start with a small prop and go from there. Octura props are the go.
