Just to clarify things. The website, Toucan Hobby, shipped the item approximately five weeks after I purchased the hull. The first time they attempted to post it apparently the packaging did not comply with new regulations which had come in force for oversized packages and so the item was returned to them. Upon making phone contact with me they then turned around and reshipped the item even though I did have an outstanding PayPal dispute with them. I give them full marks for that.

My concern arose over the initial purchase last December from an eBay store whom I still believe is connected with the website. That store owner basically "deceived" me into believing a hull had been posted early last December, even marking as shipped and supplying an invalid, unable to be tracked, tracking number. Only when I messaged the seller two months later did I realise that no hull was actually being sent to me. Even then the seller was making promises and offering a free boat stand as recompense.

In dealing with the main website I had in my mind the potential business connection to the initial eBay store and was concerned once again being given the runaround. In retrospect, the website maybe took a little too long to actually post my item, but really I cannot fault the follow-up service. The site states that items are instock, but in reality I doubt it and this is why it took some weeks to get the item shipped.

Hopefully, I will have the hull at the end of the week and be able to let this sorry saga rest.

Some good sellers out of Hong Hong. 19 days from my order and it was waiting for me at the post office. Powerracing2014 is trustworthy.

I did order a GoolRc 2280kv 3670 motor for $25.00 all in, that will take about a month or more. That was Bluebetter but after checkout it said TomTopsales. We shall see.

Only one near miss buying power resistors, took 2 months but I got a refund,

I hope you get things worked out.

          Ray,
I have had many dealings with Powerracing2014. They ship quickly and items arrive weeks before the delivery date specified on eBay. Another brilliant eBay store is "rcgenesis". This is the eBay outlet for TFL. They generally ship items in less than a week. It only takes one bad apple though to spoil the excellent work of many.

I figured that was TFL. Thank you.

That's the main reason why I don't buy anything out of China. And that includes HK.
However it appears such companies like Bangood are pretty consistent.
When I find a new hobby store online I always check for its location. If its in China, I pass.
I purchased something out of Aircraft World/Japan and it arrived within a week. That was Faaaast.

                    John,
this store did come through for me in the end and when they set their mind to it the hull was delivered in just days. I have never not received an item from China and have purchased many, many items from numerous sellers, mostly on eBay. When I find a good seller I generally stick with him. Some list the typical 39 working days delivery and yet the item arrives in just over a week. These stores I like. All a matter of trust I suppose. I dealt with Bangood only once and the item took eleven weeks to arrive. I never dealt with them again after that.

i have used Hobby King for many years without any issues atall and shipping has been very quick. tried Bangood once and yes shipping is way to slow for my likings but lipos prices are very good. O.S.E would be my pick .
