    swordfish x+ 300 amp

just purchased my second swordfish x+ 300 amp esc for ose and 1st one worked fine, just installed in boat build with castle 2028 powered up gave the 3 beeps went to calibrate throttle notice throttle from transmitter was set up in reverse. no biggie the motor and esc still worked in neutral position on transmitter. turned off and reversed throttle to normal and esc and motor wont power on... installed normal servo on rx and tested throttle and is working fine. running 2 4s 5000 mah 50c in series. esc didn't smoke not smells burnt. Im at a loss, any thoughts?

I had an issue whereby I set up the throttle on a Turnigy 180 amp ESC not noticing on the new transmitter that the throttle switch was set to REV position. I went to test the boat and it had no power at all and simply refused to plane. I recalibrated the throttle with the switch in the normal position and the boat performed well.

There should be a warning or caution to ensure the throttle switch on the transmitter is set correctly prior attempting throttle calibration.

Maybe try an update on the firmware. You then have to recalibrate as everything goes back to factory default

calibrated the esc as follows lvc/auto brake/soft timing/auto cutoff type/oft start up standard pwm rate 8khz
running 2028 castle, 2x4s 5000 mah 50c 57" mono surface drive 455xprop. I was able to get esc and motor running but my radio settings are all "f" up

The X+ calibrate the throttle at 4 beeps

Also put throttle at full end point and then calibrate...The X series is not like the old Swordfish series... (put 80% then calibrate and then full the end point at TX)

Off topic but... Is the X series a newer, better design... with the latest mosfets? Has anyone pushed the SF 300 X series ?
