Stock motor craped. Whats a step better than stock on 4s Not a race boat just playing. Also what prop to use with new motor?

Which motor did you boat have. Was it a V3 with the 1750kV motor, black hull with yellow graphics?

I picked it up cheap and its a v2 I believe. Black with orange. Its a 1800 kv. I believe we are close to each other. Iam 1/2 mile from Schamburg HS. Maybe we could meet this spring for some tuning on my boats if you would. Whats your 1/2 day price for help? I have a few I could use some help on.

4074 or 4082 2000 to 2200 Kv you are running 4s

I grew up in Schaumburg, my parents still live there. REDLINE1 and I run at Volkening lake a few times a month. Happy to meet up with you there when the weather warms up.

The new 3831 2000kv motor from the Veles and UL19 is a good runner on 4S and will bolt right in. You might need to run a smaller prop to start as it will be a faster setup than what you previously had, and I don't know if your ESC and batteries are up to it.

Got it never really get why they do that. Also the water jackets on the Proboat motors are slightly different sizing then the standard for Leopard and SSS, I am sure it comes with it but he won't be able to use it on another 36 size can at least it was that way with the 1650kv 40x82 motor

Also the SSS 3674 2075kv would be good if your sticking with 36 size can. I would probably go 40 can because it is a mono, that's just me but I think the 40 cans bolt right in also at least they do on the V3 maybe V2 is different.
