Hello, looking to possibly build a assault racing design ambush "57 any suggestions on what I would need for power plant for decent speed maybe 60 ish

A castle 2028 for the motor, a high voltage ESC that can handle 240 plus amps. 1/4 flex shalf, a prop 57 to 60mm would be good, you can try 10s lipos for the battery.

That should give you a good start.

how about twins in a mono. do they perform well ? what KV ?

twins and large boats comes at a big price. go for a good sized single and run on 12s power.
