    Prop height....?

What's the rule of thumb for setting outboard (EP650_) prop shaft height in reference to boat bottom? re: flat bottom "drag
    boat"

    thanks

same with this flat bottom, start with prop shaft level or an 1/4 inch below bottom of hull and start jacking it up untill you find the sweet spot

.....I believe you're talking about full size race boat applications.....I use to run my "quickies" on a BSR with prop shaft center 1" below boat bottom.
I was thinking starting at 1/4" below on my 27" scale flat bottom Daddle .....just wondering if I'm in the ballpark ?

sorry that was a typo start at a 1/4 inch below and work your way up, its where I have my EP650 mounted I was going to start with level but was worried all that work and if it wasnt deep enough it would be on me ( the quickie above is 1/4 inch below)
