Uploading pictures in post

How do I upload pictures so they show up as a thumbnail in a post. I can not get the upload to work via the attachments.

i use the little paperclip symbol and it works unless my file is to big.... or the wrong type.

I have tried that and when I upload the pictures I just get a white screen after I click upload. Does this mean it is complete?

you can close out that screen and try your new thread. they should be there

unless its the wrong file type... you can only upload certain types

Thanks, I got it to work. The resolution from my camera was to large.
