    Hi I'm the old guy. I'm just getting into the Fast Electric boat thing. Not new to R.C. boating used to race nitro in th APBA ( man I miss the pain of 65% nito in a cut) I was looking at A Hyperion Eos0610iDuo I think that was it. This one I like becouse I can charge to li-po at one time and it can run on AC. I think it comes with a variety of balancer pluggy things
    Or
    Turnigy Accucel-8 it has a balancer bord
    so what are your thoughts or should I look at something different

    O.K. one more thing this Anilyzer thing is this good should a guy have one? Just like reading a glow plug??

    any help for a old nitro sniffing bald guy would be nice links to would be nice

      From one old guy to another, We're here to help. Tell us what kind of boat & "fun zone" you're after, & the advice will roll in

      Charger-wise, the Duo needs a power supply, the ac/dc model is configured for one pack at a time, although it likely can be used to charge two packs in series like the EOS 1210i. [ many boats will use 2 packs at once; = 2P]

      Not sure about the Turnigy or the analyzer [Eagletree ?]; others may chime in here.

      Look forward to substituting the pain of nitro in a cut to the joy of inhaling the heady aroma of a barbeque'd speed control

          I think the 606i is the only Hyperion charger that works on AC/DC current. The DUO 2 is the latest Hyperion charger, but it requires a AC power supply.

          I use two 606i chargers. I like the AC

              Here is the 606i charger built under another name...it comes without AC cord, but the price is good. It comes with Align battery balance taps, but you may need to purchase balance tap to fit your type of battery balance tap.
