I would stay away from this one. It seems many people have had problems with fine design including myself.

Gee, Fine Design is in Middletown, NY. What a coincidence. Looks like maybe a new way for FDM to burn.... I mean "serve" a new customer base.

I am very interested how they balanced the prop to 50,000 rpm. Not a lot of dynamic balancing going on out there!!

I dont think the ad is by FDM but the guy is selling one setup by FDM. and has no clue what he has or how to sell it

The address on the eBay ad is in Middletown, NY. I am hard pressed to believe that some guy bought a boat from Chris and lives in the same town.

Plus, the same seller has a number of other items for sale, all stuff sold by Chris and Fine Design. A bit too much of a coincidence to be a coincidence.

Shop by department, purchase cars, fashion apparel, collectibles, sporting goods, cameras, baby items, and everything else on eBay, the world's online marketplace

Odd wording too for an individual seller. Says "we" several times.

if you include the hardware in the measurement...a 3" increase in length sounds about right.
Still waiting for my boat to come in.it came in

Lets give credit where credit is due. Chris can be tough to deal with sometimes, but he does build a nice boat. If you add in all the parts you will be in the $700 range, $300 for the building labor is not that much.

I have heard the stories about Chris, but I can't say one way or the other because I have never bought from him. I spoke to him on the phone a few times and he seems like a very nice guy. If he can produce a Red Viper (bud), I'll get it and see for myself. There is a boat locally that I believe was built by Chris (team fine design all over it) It's a great running boat!

Most of his setups run 2p. With todays packs 12000mah is easy.
