a cooling line through the transom? I can't find them anywhere in the OSE Store website. I'm about to undertake an Apparition build from a bare hull up, and I would like to order everything in one shot. Rather unlikely, I know....Thanks.
Where can I find those through hull gromets used when passing

First place I looked Bp. NG. I'm not looking for the bulkhead fitting that is used for exiting the hull after cooling the motor, and esc, rather the grommet used when the water line just comes off the rudder and into usually through the transom. It insulates the line from chafing. Probably not 100% necessary, but it looks alot nicer than just the hose going through the transom. Thanks though.
ETA-yup kfxguy, you are correct. It wont let water past it either way, thanks.Comment

And I do not recommend the through hill fitting that has a nipple on each end. It’s a pain in the rear to connect the hose on the inside of that boat and you’ll need a zip tie or clamp to hold it on. Or it’ll pop off and flood your boat. So stay away from those and just run one cooling like in it. Here’s a carbon version of that hull and I did use a grommet on this one. You’ll need to jb weld it in a wait a day or so and drill it out a tad.

Thats exactly the part, right there. Guess I will do without. Thanks for the heads up on the other fittings, I have them on my other two boats, and have zip ties the coolant lines as suggested. 102 mph out of that bad boy, damn!!! I'm going to have t check that out further. Can I tap you as a resource for the build? Any vids posted on Youtube of your Rivercat?
Actually just found your boat there, white canopy?Comment

I'm getting to the point of just gluing in a brass tube and jam on the silicone tubing. Looks neat enough.
I've used the aluminum threaded through Hull fittings before and when I go to take them out for a repaint they were seized in there. Had to drill one out on the Cheetah.
Lots of ways to get it done.Nortavlag Bulc

Ray.
I also do that sometimes. But mostly I just do what was suggested in post #3. Drill a slightly smaller hole & feed the tube through. Plus I add a small drop of thin CA glue around it to seal.See the danger. THEN DO IT ANYWAY!!!
