Thank you. Just checking for my Rsx310. I usually use 4-40 or 3mm what's on hand.

The Z bend is 2 short 90's for the offset between servo arm and rudder. 4-40 at 10 plus inches would flex but 5" with a Z is very sturdy. Reading this build thread it is interesting there are 3 P size rigger kits available JAE, ML and Keps. With hardware motor and ESC I have Just over $350 in this boat. These are easy build, fast well handling hulls. A 4S spec class should be easy to promote.

Mic, you have the same 5800 pack and i also run the same 1415 nue motor in my jae. want to try out the 3650 - 2310 kv motor as well. how much run time are you getting with the 1415 set up ?

I have been testing with spec motors to the 3650 and batteries from 3700ma to 5800ma but not specifically set up for 6 lap heats yet. In testing I don't push a lot of laps and come in with 3.85 or greater volts per cell. I think the boat would run 6 laps with a stiff prop on the 1415 and not use more than 3500 ma's. Prop diameters and blade area seem to affect run time most in my estimation.

I'm a newbie to the hi-power boats and was thinking of getting one of these JAE FE33's. I thought the reason for the 33 verses the 21 was the bigger 33 could run 4082 size motors on 6s? Or was the reason they made it bigger was for more stability??

i have both the 21 / fe and the 33 jae,s. the 33 is designed to take up to 6s battery size and the biggest 40mm motor such as a good 4082 etc. the 33 is longer and wider in tub sizes and is more suited to better handling in race or rougher water conditions. the 33 on 6s would be very quick providing your motor and esc are suited plus your prop selection is also suited .
