    Airbrushing

So I pilfered a compressor and a dual action siphon feed Master Airbrush from wife's art studio. Hope she don't miss it. I got a couple of boats ta paint ha ha. So I never used a dual action, only single action years ago. How does one set the needle? automotive paints? pre mixed ? tips / guidance please.

VISCOSITY.......all paints are different so there is no real mix formula

there are viscosity cups available for reducing , I can judge viscosity by eye from experience the best advice I can offer you is this, thin your paint with appropriate reducer until the flow and spray pattern are the best this can be achieved by testing for coverage. when you think you have a good spray a newbie can spray a thin coat on a piece of glass wait 5-10 min for it to tack.....now spray coat after coat until you have a nice even coverage till the paint runs..if the paint ran at 4 coats then you spray 3 coats for best coverage without runs
