        It would help if the person driving knew what they where doing. Its hard to see the hulls lines friom the pictures. Id like to see the bottom really close. It is a looker.

          looks ok but way under powered in stock trim
          The Manx has been sitting dormant, but I think I finally have my motivation back. I hope to see it float soon.

            I think the underpower has to do with the crappy packs the guy is using. Did you hear? Two 7.2v Nimh 2500 packs in series. I mean comon and put a set of lipos in it for the demo at least......lol

              LOL, I don't have any Lexan on my hardware...

              After thinking about it........maybe I'll have to switch that BJ plastic to Lexan :)

              This thing is expensive! I think I'll go back to carving my foam for the next hull.....

                I don't think that single is enough power for the big hull
                (again this is just me, I'm putting twins in a 16" cat :shrug: )

                  The hull looks similar to H&M's Intruder S which is also 33" long.

                  The package says it include:
                  * Boat (100% assembled)
                  * Radio Controller
                  * Wall Battery Charger
                  * Display Stand for Boat
                  * 2x 7.4V 4000mAh Li-Polymer Rechargeable batteries
                  * English Manual

                  It says it comes with LiPo's, why he didnt use them in the demonstration, I don't know.

                    The problem with all these boats is that they are ALL underpowered and over volted! They are using 28mm motors in 30-35" boats. The manufacturers refuse to put in the correct motors.

                      When I first saw the video several months ago I particularly liked the West Coast-style dress and speach of the demo artist. That goes a long ways towards cluing us in on the boat's demographics. Teenagers like the flashy paint and the bouncing ride looks "wicked bad" to the uninitiated. It isn't a race boat and we should not judge it on that basis. The motor is small format, but given the price point and the limited ESC amperage it is acceptable for the intended use....woe to him who tries to prop up or run 6S...

                      This is a RTR that looks good, and for its size and the fact that it comes with LiPos, at $450 it is very competitive with the SV27, BJ26 and the UL-1. The fact that it is sold out tells you they were successful in their marketing campaign.

                          i saw these at I hobby expo... they are pretty sad if you ask me... hull construction and the wood in some of them look like it used to be a part of a skid you would use for shipping.. they were pretty sad...

                            I love how the boat cant get out the the hole. Did anyone else notice the difference in batterys? You can see this difference in the spec and package sheet it say QUOTE Package Include:
                            Boat (100% assembled)
                            Radio Controller
                            Wall Battery Charger
                            Display Stand for Boat
                            2x 7.4V 4000mAh Li-Polymer Rechargeable batteries
                            English Manual

                            then if you look at the batts you will see 2 nimh.
