    Hobbywing turbo esc

Just got a Hobbywing160amp esc with turbo function. Unfortunately my Leopard 3674 2200kv is not recommended for turbo advanced timing. So I'm going to need another motor.
Can anyone suggest an equivalent motor that will accept more timing as the turbo function is activated?

how about going up the kv,s to a 3764 - 2300 ? or a castle neu 1415 - 1y. i think you need the Y-wind motor which likes higher timing than the D-winds.

The OP’s motor is a D-wind, that is why it doesn’t like timing advance. D-winds like 0 to 4* advance. The OP needs to use a Y-wind motor for advanced timing. Another thought, why not disable the silly “turbo” function and use his current motor?
