I am guessing it is so big because it is much cheaper for the company to use many, low amp rating transistors, rather than a few of the high amp rating chips.

    But they aren't THAT expensive...

I think ya'll should just stick with Hydra 240's.

Flying. not wanting to start a flaming contest but ROCKwerks was asking a question any one could ask and that is the whole point of a forum.
he is fully entitled to asking about it. your posts regardinghow his posts are negative and destroying the forum are no more worse then anyone else.
so i think you just need to relax on calling people out when you have little input in a thread other then telling them to buy one and find out for his self.
PM me if you care to respond.

          it just looks big.......
i have blown up 240's easily.
this esc would be a nice smaller option to the 40-160's we use.
if it can do the same.

your aware that casle stacks there MOSFETs and this is all layed out on one level board... if castle built there the same way it would be about twice as long for the comparable esc.

True and also by one board instead of stacked boards they dissipate heat twice as fast. The stacked boards are hard to cool. Im gonna have to save my pennies and get one of these... Right now my finances are more the mystery price range LOL.

              I'm done with this...

Congrats Flying Scotsman (applaud), I hope that works for your self validation that you need.

              I'm done.

As a side, I'm very sorry Rockwerks and Steven...I should have known better than to express myself.

              I don't need this.

Do we have any info on the resistance for this ESC?

It could be pretty high since the PCB is so big...

Or it could be super low.

                    IDK.

LOL, I don't know either, that's why I asked. If I had to guess, I'd say low. However, without seeing the board, I couldn't provide any true conjecture.

Is this the one you are looking at? Looks the same. HV 200 amp.

I wrote them for specs and pricing. You can always be assured that someone else is making this stuff.

No one asked for Steven to BUY anything. So what is your issue?

Here you jump down my throat for asking for information on an ESC, and on RRR you told a kid off for asking RAY Fuller to provided info on what he was attempting to sell.

In both cases you where out of line. And neither Ray or Steven has taken any offense to what was posted Why do you feel the need?
