Custom Battery packs? Anyone make them?

Does anyone make custom Lipo battery packs? I have a tight space I need them in. Or can I buy single cells from anywhere and assemble myself?

You can try Junlin at Roaring Top or Mark from Dinogy can usually build custom packs.
I believe Roaring Top will also sell you single cells and you can assemble.

Size increases nearly linearly with capacity, discharge rate by 50% the increase. If you do make your own packs, I'd recommend getting some single sided copper PCB board. Most good lipo's connect the tabs thru slots in a pcb board to greatly reduce the wires wiggling the tabs. Also ask if they're pre-tinned or need nickle-compatible solder & flux.

If you find pull apart your own battery, use acetone & dental floss to separate cells. Then cover each tab you aren't working on with kapton tape. Also drain the battery to about 0%, less charge will reduce the danger a hair if there's an accident.
