I knew thats what it was. I was tempted to buy on too. I had it in the shopping cart on Tower, about to click proceed to checkout, then my girlfriend walked in and shut me down....

I cant wait to see this build!!

Just the outside. The overhang is about 7/32" (5.5 mm).

            Huh.

I thought they were supposed to overhang on the inside??

(to hold the inner sponson down in a turn?)(Like a hydro turn fin?)

It seems like those would suck the outside sponson down and flip the boat right over...

I'm thinking step one is to mock up the components to get an idea of battery position for c.g.; probably using the 4S Elite 5300. I like the idea of the servo & SC in back like my TS-2 but won't know until the outboard is positioned. Not sure which outdrive. The REK has served me well thus far but I like the Hyperformance Angle Drive idea. Anyone have any experience with it ? [ The Lawless is a little pricey for my blood . Pat Mc. had a really nice OS setup at the SAW's; again somewhat pricey].

So who's going to be the one to hang the box on their wall?

                  The box art is GORGEOUS!

My memory's a little shakey on this one [Darin correct me if I'm wrong] but a certain Mr. Brian B. had a P-OPC version at the Nationals ; I believe it might have been the original VS-1 version. Fast as a bullet; can't remember how it did in the turns.

That was Darin's boat; probably didn't slide as much as I imagined, but cornered flat & even. 'Think it was a WOF tunnel.
