Thanks. It's up in the air right now if it's coming this way. We will gets lots of rain I'm sure but it depends on the path it takes. I went got gas for the generators last night and filled up my truck just in case.

      Folks in South Texas

As I see this storm approaching you guys in S Texas, I want to say I hope you all stay safe, and heed these flood warnings. I have many friends in the Houston area, my thoughts are with them and all, in harm's way...

yes a member of another forum [ amp abuser ] lives very close to the eye of this storm and he says winds around 125 mph are expected and rain between 10 to 15 inches.

Actually, predictions for parts of the Texas Gulf Coast are for up to 30" or more of rain. Lots of uncertainties with this storm, both with its trajectory and with its effects. Bad news no matter how you look at it. Not much food, water or gas is left for sale in the Houston area.

Damn. We got 31" when we flooded. I had over 3ft of water in my workshop and it seeped into my house, luckily my house is higher than my workshop. We are praying that things don't get that bad for those people. It was a disaster here for quite some time.
