      $3000, man you can almost get a baby turbine for that... How big a boat would this drive?

        Yeah Jay, it looks to be made for surfboards. 12s though it would be in the 16k range.

                  Jet pumps are not very efficient at high speeds, so better to use a lower RPM and higher torque motor like an outrunner.
