TFL Pursuit upgrades. and jump to 6s.

I have v=been running this boat on 4s running a Leapord 4802 2000. Also running a Seaking 180. I have a pretty much brand new 4082 1600, Thought about running 6s for a change. Can anyone recommend a starting prop I know there are several factors just lookingfor a pretty safe prop to start with. Thanks !!

what size prop have you been running with 4s ? go up a size for 6s after testing temps with the 4s prop.

I run a balanced and sharpened and thinned x645 from ose on my pursuit with 4082 1600 and have achieved almost 58 mph on 6s. Motor stays cool never been over 110 . Esc runs between 135 to 150 but I run the flycolor 150

Been running the x642 seems to be the best I have found for my 4s setup

The 6s setup should run the same as the 4s. Or close, provided you don't change anything else. Your benifit will be extra runtime(some, monitor this), and the added torque of the lower KV may allow a bigger prop.

I run a 45mm 1.2 pitch on mine and find it best all round(runtime, handling).

I haven't tried 1.6 pitch on this hull since I had so many issues on my DF trying. Guess I should give it a try.
