Hi all forgot to ask about the steering servo in my previous post. In my JAE .21 im presently using a Futaba S3305 metal gear analog servo rated at 124 oz torque with bec voltage of 5v . Would this servo have enough torque when i approach the 70 mph range? Regards Andris Golts.

One thing to consider besides max torque is centering power. On really fast boats, having a strong centering servo is as important as maximum torque. Digital servos have what it takes, I recommend a digital servo for this hull. Mine runs high 70s and 12-second laps with a HiTech 5645MG servo.

With my CMB 67 mod powered sg eagle i was officially timed for our 2 lap [ 1/2 kilometer ] oval time trials back in 2013 at 17.976 secounds. average approx 9 secounds per lap of 2. the jae 21 fe has potential of good times when i get it all sorted out but it wont be as quick as the sg . the current aust record is abit quicker than my time.Comment
