    Genesis 140 Set-Up..???

    Hi.
I`m new on this forum and I need some advice:
    I have a Genesis 140 wit this set-Up:
    2 x TFL 1000kv Motors (takes 14s lipo)
    2 x Pro Marine 300amp ESC (takes 16s lipo)
    2 x 8s lipo 5300mah 60c Gens ace
    Originale props. (3 blades)

I am going to run this on 4 x 6s Lipo (12s on each side)
Anu suggestion on Propellers, NEW motors, NEW Esc`s.???

    Need some advice....

I suppose it is a pair of the 5694 /240A..I would start out with some 5514.That can not do any harm to anything.

12S voltage is a maximum for your 1000kv motors, I vote for 10S.

Here is one with 55-14-3 props. Scorpion 4035 /800 12s..200a esc...

(but I think that he wrote to me, that he was using 52 or 54mm 2-blade in the video).

RBB he writes under his RC. Dont know them. I like propshop general purpose. They are not extreme cleavers so they "forgive" a lot..But a prop-expert can tell you a lot more..

Looks like mine is faster with the 1000kv on 8s (4 x 4s)
Looking foreward to test it with 12s (4 x 6s)
Will try to add a video.
Any suggestion on motors.? TP got a 1200kv that takes 12-14s.🤔

                Why not ? Tried twin TP 5840s / 1600 kv in a mono 45" 8,5 kg...4s. 130 A-peaks..6s. 270A peaks. 5514-2 props (=135A /800 kv /12s.) Twin Dragster hydro, (MHZ). TFL 5694 /730 kv. 8s. 11 kg. 120 A-peaks on 8s..5814-3 props. So I can not tell...But you could overload something...Think its "no fun to go mutch below 55mm on a 140cm cat

Scorpion are great motors, I love them in a boat .

A correct timing setting is necessary ...

12s./1200 kv should be no problem at all....

You will not have mutch more then have half the amp-draw as in this video if you build it light.

What are your expectations for your boat....So far there's been some wonky advice.

If you setting up a boat for saw passes, 1200kv and 12s might work, a burst in one direction and the other, then bring it in, But out side of that, 6s and maybe 8s for a reliable setup with 1200kv. I think the same could be said for 1000kv. Prop would be 50 to 55mm.
