twin mounts

installing twin mounts on my avenger. was going to tack in with ca, then use jb weld to attach to hull. I'm worried that the jb weld will run and pool at the base of the mount. any info appreciated.

You can use tape along the hull 1/8" from mount. Just pull tape before JB cures but after it is runny. I think Travis has a thread on this for servo mounts, I have it in a build somewhere as does properchopper Tony.

If you do one side at a time you can wedge the hull flat so it doesn't run.
