    FE wins 24 hr race

    Hi Guys
I don't know if many of you know about this event held in Chatillon, France. I only know a little of it, but each year they run a 24 hour endurance race, this year it was won by a French team running electric. Here's a link to their website

    And Facebook

From what I can gather from translated Facebook comments 2nd and 3rd were also electric, beating out the gassers at their own game. It would be great to know more about the setups etc. These guys have done a non-stop 24 hr endurance with FE boats, that is pretty awesome and perhaps paves the way for potentially running races longer than 4 mins! I'll keep my eye out for any more information, and if anyone else knows or finds stuff please share it here. Perhaps someone knows these guys and could get them to post here at OSE.

I posted a few pics and vids while it was going on. FE came 1st and 3rd, 2nd was IC, only 18 laps between 2nd and 3rd in over 2000 though ant they were making up lost ground fast.

That is pure madness... does one driver have to drive the whole time? Same boat?

Same boat, team setup with two or more drivers and pit crew. Madness? Maybe?
Our club has done a couple of 3 hr team races with petrol/nitro offshore boats, max of three boats/drivers per team. Two boats and a third as pit person works best.
