which hardware for a 29" mono?

was toying with building a 29" wildthing over the winter, and was wondering which hardware would be a good choice? my initial thought was the Solinger mono set...(pls note I said good not 'best', I do have to stay on the budget ). suggestions? thanks

I like the speedmaster stinger. there is less chance of twisting the flex shaft
The Manx has been sitting dormant, but I think I finally have my motivation back. I hope to see it float soon.

I have been using the Speedmaster hardware. Changing the angle of the prop is very simple.

The Solinger mono hardware is definately the ducks nuts, we have used it on a mono for a while now and it has not
        dissapointed us yet.

er I thought that was the point of having a drive shaft, twist the shaft and the prop spins . anywho I think that I haven't had that problem(knotting flex shaft) yet. I rather like the adjustability of the non-stinger struts(considering my build skills, that is a plus). got a line on some Solinger hardware(should I decide to build a wildthing) that moves them to the top of my short list. thanks for the info folks.

Rex I have now built two Wild Thing Mono's both 31". They are both running the speedmaster mono kit that Steve sells. One my kids run with a Hi Model 200 amp esc, 10xl Feigao and 4s 1p and with a m445 runs all day in the mid to high 40's. The other I have built for a friend with a 1515 1y , hydra 240 same 4s1p and spins a m447 and runs mid 50's all day long. They both go where they are pointed and handle very well. My DF 33 only wins with the same motor and esc package when it gets rough realy rough other than that the Wild Thing is every bit as good a boat! But now I have the 1527 1d hooked up on 2p I have 10-15 mph on him, he still won because I was on my lid!!!!!!!!!

Rex, the Speedmaster mono kit is great value for the money. A tip from Doug Smock extend the rudder parallel to the prop for better handling
