2 x lipo packs in series ?

Just wondering if 2 x 2200 mah 2s lipo packs joined in series so the voltage stays the same at 14.8 v would the MAH rating stay at 2200 or would this double to 4400 MAH ? Thanks.

On series the mah will stay the same yes,on parallel you would have have 4400 mah

so connecting up parallel 14.8 volts total you mean will give these 2200 packs a 4400 mah rate ? i think i stuffed up by saying in series.

like you said in your first post if you take 2x 2s 2200 mah and connect them in series you will have 4s and still 2200 mah,if you connect those 2x 2s in parallel you will have 2s and 4400 mah. My English are limited so i cant really explain it any better than this,hope that helps
