it's a little buried but here is a thread with some q and a. Lots on info on facebook as well if you are on there.

I've prodded Rafael to try to get him to come to the scale race and bring it along, perhaps you can prod him further.

I rarely go to that thread nor am on Facebook

      I'll talk to Raphael

Edit : This is newsworthy enough to be in this section. I'm just thrilled that this gives a huge shot in the arm to the P-Ltd Sport Hydro race class - And FWIW the SCSTA in D19 hasn't had an issue with the latest BJ29 using the Dyn 2000KV motor and I doubt this PLSH should cause any concern.

I'd have to see if I still have those files. Won't do you much good cause that was with the 1800KV motor. I think I'd end up racing with something similar though.

You guys are the ones that always seem to work up the "formulas" for speed out there. I was just testing for Rafael to try to develop a plan for the Production prop. Something that will perform well all the way to battery voltage cutoff without burning stuff to the ground, because, well, that's what most people seem to want to do. :)

I run 1800 kv for the most part, totally different boat but that's the comparison i was after, plus I've been wanting that prop. However, after some logs with props that are smaller than an 1815 I didn't think i could pull it off. I run 6 laps and bring it in, most people give me a strange look. My temps are acceptable but amp draw is beyond the rated current by quite a bit. People run to cutoff though there is no doubt about that. If you have them handy they would be nice for me to look at, if they aren't easy to find don't worry about it. There is a comment in the video you posted stating it will be interesting to see the data from this run.

Rafael is in Vegas with Pro Boat this week. He was supposed to be doing a LIVE demo on the pond there on Facebook or Instagram or both... I think it's under Pro Boat Models on Instagram.

I called Russ Stark about it, I'm not sure why but I thought he would be the guy to call for some reason. The motor/boat wont be here until June so we can talk about it in a couple weeks at the SCSTA race

Russ would contact Brian Buaas... Russ isn't an FE guy.

It's very clear in the National NAMBA rules. It's up to your CD to decide if it'll be allowed or not for your local races. As it stands, it's NOT NAMBA legal on it's own. It must be "allowed" per the stipulations in the rules.

Last SCSTA season a racer campaigned a P-Ltd. Cat with the Dyn 2000 powered BJ29. Nary an eyebrow was raised.
