    HPR C5009 bouncing - help

    Hi,

    My setup is:
    HPR C5009
    2 x leopard 4082 2000kv
    2 x seaking 180a v3
    2 x cnc 44mm props (pitch 1.4)
    2 x gens ace 6s 5000 mah 60c

The hull bounces a lot. I've lowered the stingers, and it got better 10 percent. But still a lot bouncing. The left motor is set to run left, and right motor runs right. Any suggestions?

    Videolink of bouncing: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IB5uJKyN3W4

Here are some pictures of the inside of the hull. And the stingers are lowered, the batteres are placed as front as possible:

Where is your center of gravity with the batteries as they are? Also, your left motor cooling lines are plumbed backwards.

Mmm, I am going to say possibly transom lift. But these hulls have rude characteristics till they are up to speed.

What kind of angle is on the stingers?

I just looked at your pics. I would first try swapping the props/cables over. And of course changing motor directions. I have not seen anyone run these with outward spinning props, only inward.

Raise the stingers, it looks like there's too much negative trim. Bring them to level with the sponsons, then test again.

            Hi

Good working Center of gravity is around 29,5 cm from the start of the transom.

Now the hull is working fine, no bouncing. Thanks for the replies. I had to switch the rotation - now i have inwards. Here's a short drone video of the boat: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ln-Cubt453U

                Hi,

I'm putting together the same boat, how fast is yours with this setup?

                Thanks,

                Brad
