    6S Lipo

My setup recommends (2) 3S Lipo packs. Does this mean I'm running 6S?
I have (2) 3S 45C 5000mah Lipo batteries made by Thrust. Has anyone known Thrust to be good or bad batteries for fast RC boats? I bought these batteries at a local hobbie shop who deals mostly air planes. I will be running Leopard 1600kv, 180amp esc, in 30" hydroplane.

If the batts are connected in series you'll be running 6s.

Never heard of Thrust packs. What prop will you be using? Hate to see your boat burn up on the first run due to too much prop.

I'm assuming he is talking about the E-Flite "thrust" series pack's. Those batteries may be pretty marginal depending on what prop he will be running, no?

Not sure what prop yet. I have a new Aquacraft 36x55 metal 2 blade still in the package. Ordered it for my Miss Vegas Hydroplane with nitro and didn't use it before now beginning this brushless conversion. Does anyone know if this Prop may work well with my 30" hydroplane, leopard 1600kv, 180esc, 6S Lipo

30" hydroplane -- Sport Hydro or Rigger?

Is this a "Rigger" or a full body "Sport Hydro"
                  What boat?
                  It all makes a difference.

So it is a full body Hydro.
We call that a Sport Hydro.

A Rigger style boat is also called a Hydro.

So do you think the 36x55 prop will work?

36mm prop is too small for that size hull

I would say; With your Hull, motor, and 6S
                            Try a X442/2 or a X440/3 to start with.
