ML Boatworks- International Hobbies/ Amps rc boat lineup and some build info

I wanted to share some boats I have been building, and some new stuff coming. I have been making molds for several of the old International Hobbies/ Amps rc boats from the 1980's. These were probably some of the most realistic, correctly detailed boats ever offered in the rc industry, with some of the coolest stories, and then, a tragic downfall of the business due to improper handling of the business, embezzlement, ponzi schemes, and finally, an FBI raid of the facility, leading to a total shut down. These boats were considered rich mans toys, and were never ment to be the collector hull they have become. I am good friends with the current licensing holder, and owner of Amps-IH, who is the great nephew of Miller Agnew, who started Amps in the UK. He has allowed me to start offering various Amps hulls that I had made molds of for my personal use at the time. Now, I am happy to say, I am going to be adding more of these on the website soon. These boats were not ment to be big time racers, but more of an enjoyable boat, that is just really fun to go out and run, and see what realism looks like. I use to be wrapped up in top speed being all that mattered. I ran the Purple Starcraft in the video below, and had more fun doing so than I have in many years of running race hulls. It was just a good time, and I wanted to share these with you guys.

So far, 5 different hulls are going to be or are already available. I have molds for a couple others I made, but are not available at this time (Skeeter Bass boat and the Starcraft CPS-20). I have a video of the Starcraft running down below too!

    These 5 include replicas of:

    1) The Baja 200ss in both outboard, and inboard versions. 38" long. Outboard cowling available with this as well.
    2) The Trihull Day Cruiser aka "Every mans Ski Boat", which we believe was a replica of the MFG trihull of the late 70's. 34" long.
    3) The Formula 357 SR1, a 54" sport cruiser with an open cockpit style hatch.
    4) The Formula Grand Prix, which uses the hull of the 357 SR1, both with a really sweet enclosed canopy hatch. (I have to finish this hatch mold)
    5) The Formula 402 SR1, a 54" sport cruiser with open cockpit style hatch. Uses the same bottom as the 357 SR1, but with a different top deck based off the 40 foot Formula flagship hull of the time, the 402 SR1. (All the seat molds, sun deck and bottom molds done, top deck is all that is left to do)
    6) The Amps Gas Seebold O/B tunnel for use with the MHZ gas lower unit, or MHZ FE lower. This hull mold is under construction, and coming soon. Merc and V8 Evinrude cowlings will be available for this as well.

Here are some pics of each one:

These are some currently not available. But shows the outboard setup on a KB 3.5 lower with FE setup.

This is the Starcraft CPS-20 flying wedge. I built these two boats for my fiance and myself. They are powered with gear from OSE, the Leopard 4074, 1800kv, on 4s, Hobbywing 180a esc. Runs great!
