    Prop help

As I peruse the web -- and look at different prop suppliers I have a big question!

What's the difference between the manufacturers? Is Grim racers quality really that much better than Octura's or anyone else's?

Not coming from the metric world how do I compare(easily) Octura's sizes to ones that are in metric such as Grim's! Is there handy chart somewhere to compare sizes?

With cold weather approaching & hard water here in NJ -- I would like to try my hand at balancing my own props .... whats the worst that can happen .... I screw them up!

At this point we just fun run so if I can do a reasonably good job at it ... it gives me a liitle more mad money to put towards a new boat project next year!

    Is Grims 40 x 52 3 blade the same as Octura X440/3 3 blade?

I just never grabbed the metric measurement system in school 35 years ago! Hell we didn't have to! And this dog has trouble learning new tricks!
We did it with a Bang!
