    cooling things down

Came across something that might be of interest to some of the testers on this board --- when you bring a boat in and open it up and everything is HOT ... well this might be an easy & cheap way to cool things down!

How about a solar powered fountain pump priced at $29.99 complete!

Keep the water flowing while on shore!

Good idea. If you run the boat in several classes it can be a bit difficult to get things nice and cool quickly.

I've had my hands on this before (helped out a family member put in a fountain). Even on a cloudy day, it was putting out 12.4 Volts at (if I remember correctly) somewhere around 800-900 milliwatts (cloudy) (800 continuous).

Although, after looking at the website, this looks like a 6V model...I guess my comment is a mute point...I can see which one my family member bought.

A computer fan attached to an old set of sub c's will do a great job also

Good find. It's a very good and easy Idea. I may have to give it a try. I am just a sport user, but this would cool things down much quicker to spend more time on the water.

I'm thinking a small cooler with a little ice & water recirculating!
