Tactic TTX300 Won't Bind??

I have a brand new TTX300 2.4g radio and i tried to power it up tonight but i get nothing from receiver. Just for power up and to bind the radio, i plugged in a 4 way "AA" battery pack with an on/off switch to the receiver, turned on the transmitter (LED is on) but nothing happens with the receiver, the LED is not coming on. I tried pressing the bind button, still nothing! I know it's not the battery pack, batteries, or the switch because i tried a couple other parts i had laying around. Possible bad receiver? Is the 4 way "AA" not enough to power up the system? Yes, AA batteries are brand new from an unopened pack. I did not plug in the ESC or the servo, but ESC is a BEC unit, i don't have the right bullets on my ESC yet to power it all up with a Lipo pack. I really don't think that's issue anyways. So what am i missing??

Yes, the TR325, it came with the transmitter.

Nevermind, i got working!! Turns out it was the on/off switch i was using, it was working only intermittently. Radio was already bound as soon as continuous power was applied.
