    Diver Down

Early yesterday morning Brians big rigger had a "mild" spatial disagreement with a Legg duck at near 100 mph. The bad news was that the boat went down, however the pate' was delicious although a slight aftertaste of speed control was detected after snacks were served. Luckily, a diver found the boat during the afternoon lull. The boat had returned to kit form, however

Randy Nayor of Blew-By-You Boats built and ran an OB tunnel with that name for many years. No idea how many ducks it bagged....

Give that bird a red card, I was fouled!

All joking aside, it certainly wasn't intentional but accidents happen. Wish it could have been later in the event, this was just a shake down run. The pass was 98 mph so it was probably going 105+ out the back.

The hull is fine, just sheared the booms and got tangled in the weeds on the bottom. Motor needs bearings and the electronics are all headed back to their respective origins for "freshening".

The real loss was the damage to the prop that went 116 on the boat. Luckily I've got the blade shape and numbers recorded so I can make another.

Jeeze Brian, when we flew airplanes, you called them local variations in air density.

Do you have a fixation with density variations? Is it contagious? Illegal?

                            Can I buy a bag?

That is too funny, and I have done my best to miss our local birds, but a duck is hard to beat as far as FOOD.
