For motors in this kv range you may think on 10S batteries ....I mean 2P 5S 5000mah. Gill

There are lot of brands in the market but personally I've been having sucess with Revolectric..now you have the choice of graphene one's that I never tried but seem to be ok and you want 10S so batteries in serie,i.e, 2 packs of 5000 in serie to get 10S so you will be in the 27K rpm turning large propellors. That is a very unusual boat, you have me intrigued, it looks like a batboat (Ocke Mannerfelt B28), but it has obviously been substantially widened and turned into a cat with a lot of deadrise and a very shallow tunnel.

It is great to see people thinking outside the box, trying new things and modding stuff to suit their tastes.

If it was me, I would have gone with a deeper tunnel, to take advantage of the rough water capability that the high deadrise sponsons provide. Everything is a compromise though and what I want from a boat may well not be what you want. It looks like it will ride fantastically in calm(ish) conditions.

Can you tell us anything about what you want to achieve, the design, and the modding process? If you have any more photos I would love to see them.

I think you will need 10s and at least 2p to run 2 of those big motors (4x 5s 5000mAh+ packs, 2 in series and 2 in parallel feeding both ESCs, or 4x 5s packs, 2 in series per ESC.)

                Thank Paul

it is the V24 cut up as this has been on my mind for about 15 years the ultimate goal is to get it laser scanned and run through aero and hydro simulation then scaled to a full size boat. I use to run the B22 in offshore racing and had the dream to do this i already have a boat builder that is very interested in turning into a full size boat once the testing of the model prototype is complete he gave me the calculations for tunel width and shape to start out with.so it is a work in progress to keep it as realistic as possibleIMG_20170209_170519.jpgIMG_20170209_170534.jpgIMG_20170209_170606.jpgIMG_20170209_170613.jpgIMG_20170209_170615.jpg

                    Love it.
a project with a big future looming in the full size world.
                    I wish you every success.

Looking forward to seeing some test runs.
