    lehner 2240/5 help

    hey guys got a awesome deal on a lehner 2240/5 hi amp 2960kv loaded . was wondering if a turnigy 180v3 can handle that motor on 6s ? was thinking about installing on a mg 29 (prolly overkill) ! any ideas or other input would be appreciated !

    That motor is NOT for 6S


    Even at 4S you would be about 46,000 RPM, Maybe in a Rigger.

    3S would be safe for sport running at about 34,800 RPM

      Not even close. Only I am crazy enough to run those kinds of amps on 6S.
      Like Larry said, it is at best a 4 cell motor if you have a stout 240A controller. A T180 might work for a short period but it would be a razors edge if you propped one click too much the amperage will jump a large amount. You would want very small props, ie 40mm.

        great thanks im new to the lehner motors .. was going to use a x438 b/s and start there . so 4s max ..... dang
