Whilst waiting for the recommended rudder to arrive from Germany I ran the boat ( Hydro and Marine No Step 2) with a temporary “short” standoff rudder. The boat tracked straight and true and turned well.
What differences will it make when I fit the correct rudder which places the rear of the rudder blade 118 mm from the transom instead of 60mm ?
