Anyone running a mystery 200A ESC on 6S?

I am looking at ESC's for my boat and have found the Mystery 200A is more than affordable. However, I have seen it listed by two different sellers- one has it listed saying it is good to 18v, another says 22.2v- so does this controller work on 6S or not???? I'd hate to buy it only ti find out 18v is all it can handle.

Also, is a pistix required for this ESC? Thanks.

i have a few mystery 200 amp controllers. so far i only been able to get them to work on my futaba system they have NOT ran at all with my hitec systems. i only tryed 1 of them on 5c lipo and it handled that quite good for a wile. then saied poof big time ( about 35-40 runs) but that can have been from water as they dont like water or moistire at all.

yes they handle 6s. have read that they are a diffrent speedie than the himodel but they look identical and run the same fets.the mystery ones we got actully say on the speedie 6s. data logged a boat with one of these speedies that hadnt been water cooled and it was handleing 175 amp bursts. not bad for a cheap speedie

also yes they do work with hitech radios. you just have to run a rx pack or a bec bat elem.

Thanks guys. This is going to be used with an older airtronics Rival radio, so hopefully it works. I am not going to be drawing anywhere near 200a with it, but with it being cheaper than the Himodel 100A, it is worth it if it works. I also have a water cooling plate that should fit it, so I'm good there. What do you guys use to waterproof?

Now for another question- are the Mystery Lipos any good? I am looking for two smaller 3S packs to run 3S2P on my micro iceberg and they sell a pack they claim is a 25C 1500 mah- 2 for $25. I currently have two thunder power 10C 1500's from my park fliers and they aren't working out, so I need something with more kick. If these work as advertised, that will give me 75A rating in 2P, quite a bit more than the 30A the old TP's give me. Do they work?

i don't know about they mystery batts but i use rcsmart batteries from ebay and they seem to be working pretty good. and the best part is that they were only about 13 bucks. i know of a couple others on here that use them and seem to like them as well.

Thanks! Looking them up now. I typically wouldn't skimp on batteries, but it is a fairly low amp setup running 2P, so they should be able to power it.

I know it's an old thread but I have seen this too. Are there two different models? One is also priced a little higher too.

I have a HiModel 200. Some say its the same as the Mystery 200 esc. I use it with a Pistix, and it works fine with TacTic 2.4ghz TX RX.
