I can't speak for all the brands but the ones I tested in the higher range didn't hold up as well. SO much so that they were never released to market.

Dynogy, Giantpower, Revo all run really well and will take a pounding.

Sorry, by higher I meant the 4.35v versions.

        I'm running all 4.2 myself.

I think that those who tried the 4.35v hv are starting to go to the 4.2v grapheme batteries in various makes, newer battery technology.

Fun run mostly but I would like to race it on occasion so I guess I answered my own question

My Revo 435's have not...I mean "did not" hold up that well compared to the newer Revo 4.20 Gopacks. The 4.27's might be an option but I have not used those. The Turnigy Graphene's (4.20) are doing really well for me also. BTW all my top speeds have been hit with 4.20's, if pulling alot of amps there seems to be less voltage sag on the 4.20's vs. 4.35's. Initial punch with the 435's is strong but it doesn't last long from what I noticed. My 435's are now relegated to my Sport boats and I personally would not buy them again until I hear improved outcomes...but hey, that's just me. Lastly, I started to get annoyed constantly changing my chargers back and forth from 4.20 to 4.30 or 4.35...and you gotta be really careful not to forget to switch them back for normal cells of course!...sounds stupid but it can happen.

Actually my 4.35's work just fine in my 46" deep V pushing an X457 on 10S2P...low amps. How big is your Fountain and what motor?

Revo Diamond 60-120C 4.20 packs are on sale at a great price.

Two 4s packs on the way.

Same chemistry packs in 6s I have for last 2 years are still quite nice, not a heavy runner this year though, only ran them 3 times.

When you run them heat them to 100f -120f so they can turn on better and will last longer than running dead cold.

My HV cells that were 4.35v didn't hold up over time. They were killer at first but after multiple runs they started to fall off.

I've had better luck with my GP graphene and even my Turnigy graphene. They seem to be more forgiving when you screw up too. I've drawn them down to 1% and brought them back to life. Not recommended by the way.

Not happy with Revo. They changed my battery order without my authorization. Called FedEx to return shipment.

Now they say the 420s are out of stock and without asking he shipped 435s that I don't want !!!

Getting my money back. Pain in the arse.

                      So p#ssed off.

Everyone here knows I'm a revo fan, but I also tell it like it is. Do not buy the 4.35's. I've had too many of them puff and friends of mine had the said issue. To say I've been embarrassed by the issues I've had with them is putting it lightly. Now, the 4.27's have been very long lasting and reliable but the best I've seen so far are the 420 graphenes. I've seen the same or better speeds out of the 4.20 graphenes vs the 4.35's charged to 4.35v. Steve carries the graphenes here in the ose store for a better price than revo lists on their site.

                        Ps don't get the 435's.

Looks like they are going to ship me 70c silver 4.20 Graphene instead of older 4.20 I asked for.

Not bad for the same $48.00/pack!!!

Yes, Steve's prices are better than revo but revo did me a solid favor to upgrade me.

I just ordered some GO packs last night from the NZ supplier. They just got them in yesterday and are shipping them out today so I am hoping to have them tomorrow to run on Saturday for our last racing for the year. My 4.27 revos have held up well, they are 2-2 1/2 years old now and they are still performing well and the IR,s are pretty much the same as when they were new, and they have outlasted Turnigy,s easily.
Klbo, go with the 4.2v GO packs I reckon, well priced and available, or as Terry said, Dinogy or Giantpower, which ever is readily available for you.
