Guys where can I find good quality hydro plans? I would try and find them on my own but if it's anything like trying to find a good hydro I give up before I even make the attempt.
Thanks
Tom.
SJFE....here are a couple i have from years back. you can take them to Kinkos and enlarge to fit your size. or if you have access to a planer, go for it.
while i got you here...don't you have a unique t-shirt?
well, the files are over the limit to post here so i will e-mail them to you and just maybe, since you are tied into OSE, you can post for the rest. if they are good enough to follow up on.
This 36 inch model of the Atlas Van Lines U-1 hydroplne is a very popular as well as performance oriented boat. Racing enthusiasts will enjoy the competition in the sport .40 hydroplane class. This all wood kit features mahogany plywood frames and high quality birch plywood skin. Atlas Van Lines graphic decals are included in the kit to put the finishing touches on your model.
I would go with Andy's suggestion of Astec Models. Also send a PM to Eddie Hansen, this guy builds the best looking hydros on the planet and knows how to tweak an FE hydro
