    Strut bushing replacement ?

Hi all using a Black Jack 29 strut on my mono for the last two seasons noticed quite a bit of play on the prop shaft . Does any one know if the standard Octura 1/4'' x 3/16'' lead teflon bushings would work ? Would they be metric ? Regards Andris Golts.

No they are too small outer diameter. You can either drill out and shim with K &S or just put a new aftermarket strut in. If you were to drill out and shim, you could go to speed master type bushings.

I have a friend in Milton that always asks me to try and fix his strut but, it's easier in the long run to mod it and be done.

Got to love metric stuffing tubes huh? Not!

Do you think it would break PB to use a 1/4" stuffing tube??? :-P
